Senior Lighting Designer

Garrett Neal joined RNLD, Inc. in 2011 while finishing his bachelor's degree. He quickly demonstrated his natural creative ability and exceptional communications skills to earn his current position as Senior Designer. As Ron's son, Garrett had the good fortune of observing the lighting design process since he was a child. Garrett brings enthusiasm and commitment to each project. Currently, Garrett is working on a wide range of projects including large scale hospitality, restaurant projects, and extreme high-end residences. He has an aptitude of quickly building relationships with our clients, contractors, and vendors. He applies his passion for design, music and travel experience to each of his projects and clearly communicates the lighting design concepts early in the project.

Garrett teaches a yearly course on Interior Lighting for the Illuminating Engineering Society San Diego (IES) and is an active member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).
