SENIOR LIGHTING DESIGNER

Nicolò Brambilla is currently leading the Architectural Lighting Design Team of the Melbourne office of Schuler Shook.

In his 16 years lighting design career, he has worked on a wide range of project types from hospitality to museums to retail to worship to sport. Through his extensive onsite, hands-on experience he developed a design approach that is at once creative and technically sound, inspired and pragmatic.

His clients also benefit from his experience working internationally in lighting design studios in Milan, The Netherlands, and Hong Kong, with projects completed across the globe from Switzerland to Taiwan, from Malaysia to the Maldives, to China, to India.

Nicolò is interested in the physical as well as human factors of light, especially the impact of light on emotion and well-being, and uses his broad base of experience to listen carefully, apply a global perspective to lighting solutions, and design mindfully for each project location.
